We pray in reparation for the injustice being performed on their tiny bodies. Just as Mary and John lovingly stood and prayed beneath Jesus’ Cross as he died\, we wish to remain with these children in the hour that they are crucified.   Most of all\, we love the unborn children who will be brought there that day. These children have been rejected by their parents\, and are doomed to die. SUMMARY:Marian Prayer Service Color Guard
DESCRIPTION:Sir Knights;\n\nCombining the Order’s devotion to Mary and it’s efforts to protect and defend persecuted Christians in the Middle East and throughout the world\, a featured Faith in Action activity is the Marian Prayer Program. Indiana has received two icons of Our Lady Help of Persecuted Christians which will make pilgrmages to every council in the state as the centerpiece of special prayer services at our parishes.\n\nThe very first Marian Prayer Service to Our Lady Help of Persecuted Christians will be conducted by Father John Hollowell at St. Paul the Apostle in Greencastle on Sunday\, November 18. The prayer service will be at 1 pm.\n\nFollowing the 11 am Mass\, Council 6989 will host a lunch and the prayer service will begin at 1 pm.  The service will be approximately 45 minutes. An invitation will\nalso be issued to Archbishop Thompson inviting him to attend and State Deputy Paul Zielinski will attend.\n\nWe request an honor guard to process the icon into the prayer service. The icon is very impressive\, gold framed and approximately four feet tall.  An invitation is also\nissued to the members of the Assembly to fully participate in the prayer service. This is an oppoprtunity to witness to the faith and actions of our Order.\n\nThanking you for all your support. Barrels can be picked up anytime during the business day at the following locations: \nAcceptance Insurance (5115 US WHY 41)\nFirst Farmers Bank & Trust (3497 S US 41 – Honeycreek Mall)\nBuilt to Last Tattoo (15 W National Ave.\, Brazil)\nDorsett Hyundai Mitsubishi (74 W Springhill Dr)\nGlidden Furniture (3631 Wabash Ave)\n\nOnce each week\, they would like us to pick up donated coats from the above locations and deliver them to the Courtesy Cleaners at 2701 Wabash Ave. Courtesy Cleaners will clean all coats and the radio stations (98.5 the River\, Mix FM\, WTHI99\, WIBQ\, and WBOW) will deliver the cleaned coats to Catholic Charities in December.
